Estorninhos

Quando os vemos voando rente às videiras quase sem folhas, já sabemos que o Inverno chegou. 

Ficam em Portugal de Outubro a Fevereiro.

Há duas espécies, o estorninho-malhado(sturnus vulgaris) que é permitido caçar, e o estorninho-preto (s. unicolor) que é protegido.

Nos campos, por enquanto sem flores, apenas alguns pontos de verde, eles deixam a sua marca.

Volto sempre à Ericeira. Desta vez para assinalar o fim das obras  no porto dos pescadores.

Conheço bem a Ericeira desde 1984 e sempre vi aquele porto meio destruído mas ainda com o farol.
Só tenho registo fotográfico a partir de 2006.

Em 1973 iniciou-se a construção  deste molhe mas os pescadores discordaram  logo do seu desenho por estar na "zona de pancada" do mar. E tinham razão porque em 1977  a força do mar partiu o molhe em dois. A partir daí o mar encarregou-se de destruir o que restava.

Em 2010, finalmente, os pescadores voltam a ter o seu porto de abrigo.

A primeira vez que vi o Ballet Gulbenkian foi em 1971, em Lourenço Marques (actual Maputo), ainda se chamava Grupo Gulbenkian de Bailado.

Anos mais tarde, já em Lisboa, segui maravilhada todo o seu percurso até 2005. Ano final para o Ballet Gulbenkian.

 Ficam na memória exibições magníficas de Graça Barroso, Gagik Ismailian, Ger Thomas  e, por último, Benvindo da Fonseca, entre muitos outros também excepcionais.

Moçambique

Memórias das praias paradisíacas de Moçambique . Lourenço Marques (actual Maputo), Beira, Tofo (Inhambane), Ponta do Ouro, Bilene, Fernão Veloso.

Águas tranquilas, cálidas e tranparentes,  areia branca e fina sem vestígios de poluição, imensidão a perder de vista, paisagem natural, sem agressões urbanísticas, de uma beleza de cortar a respiração.

Para irmos à praia do Bilene fazíamos 300 quilómetros de ida e volta a Lourenço Marques (actual Maputo).

Num país tão vasto isto era perfeitamente normal.

Suggestion for Christmas, visit Israel

My suggestion for this season is to visit Israel! Israel as a different and great number of attractions for the followers of all the main religions.

For Christian people, is great to see the places were Christ has been, the cave were he is born, the Jerusalem temple and all the sacred places that still exist in Israel.

Christmas is the ideal season for visit the place where Christ was born and feel the strength that these places have.

But Jerusalem is a sacred place to all the main religions, Jews Muslims and Christians have their most sacred places here, so its important to have information on the places to visit.

Monsaraz

A vila medieval de Monsaraz foi conquistada aos mouros por Geraldo o Sem Pavor,  em 1167.

Monsaraz evoluiu de Monte Xarez (ou (Xaraz),  do árabe saris ou sharish, designando  a vegetação de estevas (xaras), na altura muito abundante nas margens do rio Guadiana.

A vila resplandece na cal branca das casas em contraste com o xisto que se vê por todo o lado.

É uma das vilas mais antigas de Portugal.

Esta Polaroid, já  com muitos anos, foi na altura um verdadeiro "brinquedo".

A maravilha do "instantâneo"( porque mais instantâneo não havia).

A  fotografias não primavam pela qualidade,  que era superada pelo entusiasmo de ver de imediato o resultado.

Entretanto a fábrica faliu e ela  ficou arrumada  sem qualquer préstimo.

Há notícia que a Polaroid  renasceu como a Fénix, para alegria dos admiradores desta simpática máquina.
