A primeira vez que vi o Ballet Gulbenkian foi em 1971, em Lourenço Marques (actual Maputo), ainda se chamava Grupo Gulbenkian de Bailado.

Anos mais tarde, já em Lisboa, segui maravilhada todo o seu percurso até 2005. Ano final para o Ballet Gulbenkian.

 Ficam na memória exibições magníficas de Graça Barroso, Gagik Ismailian, Ger Thomas  e, por último, Benvindo da Fonseca, entre muitos outros também excepcionais.

Moçambique

Memórias das praias paradisíacas de Moçambique . Lourenço Marques (actual Maputo), Beira, Tofo (Inhambane), Ponta do Ouro, Bilene, Fernão Veloso.

Águas tranquilas, cálidas e tranparentes,  areia branca e fina sem vestígios de poluição, imensidão a perder de vista, paisagem natural, sem agressões urbanísticas, de uma beleza de cortar a respiração.

Para irmos à praia do Bilene fazíamos 300 quilómetros de ida e volta a Lourenço Marques (actual Maputo).

Num país tão vasto isto era perfeitamente normal.

Suggestion for Christmas, visit Israel

Christmas is arriving, and its this season there a Great deal of offers to spend the extra time and extra money that is available.

Some people like to be at home with the family during Christmas, but other like to travel around the world and to have new experiences.

My suggestion for this season is to visit Israel! Israel as a different and great number of attractions for the followers of all the main religions.

For Christian people, is great to see the places were Christ has been, the cave were he is born, the Jerusalem temple and all the sacred places that still exist in Israel.

Christmas is the ideal season for visit the place where Christ was born and feel the strength that these places have.

But Jerusalem is a sacred place to all the main religions, Jews Muslims and Christians have their most sacred places here, so its important to have information on the places to visit.

The best sites with Israel pictures can be found at isreal-sites.com, and there it’s possible to search almost everything about the country and the history.

You can see travel videos, Israel Photos, search for attractions on different cities or activities to do in family or more radical.

But Israel is not only Jerusalem or Tel-Aviv, you must see also Eilat videos and Eilat photos to know some more about the most popular diving places in Israel.

Israel is a place to be visited in peace by all the people!

Monsaraz

A vila medieval de Monsaraz foi conquistada aos mouros por Geraldo o Sem Pavor,  em 1167.

Monsaraz evoluiu de Monte Xarez (ou (Xaraz),  do árabe saris ou sharish, designando  a vegetação de estevas (xaras), na altura muito abundante nas margens do rio Guadiana.

A vila resplandece na cal branca das casas em contraste com o xisto que se vê por todo o lado.

É uma das vilas mais antigas de Portugal.

Esta Polaroid, já  com muitos anos, foi na altura um verdadeiro "brinquedo".

A maravilha do "instantâneo"( porque mais instantâneo não havia).

A  fotografias não primavam pela qualidade,  que era superada pelo entusiasmo de ver de imediato o resultado.

Entretanto a fábrica faliu e ela  ficou arrumada  sem qualquer préstimo.

Há notícia que a Polaroid  renasceu como a Fénix, para alegria dos admiradores desta simpática máquina.

In my opinion, internet is now the most powerful source of information in the all World.

From the most far and small country, to a giant like United States, Russia or China, there is no country in the world without connection to the internet, some fast, other slow, cable, DSL or satellite there is an access point everywhere.

Rio Guadiana

Quando seguimos de Elvas para Juromenha deparamos com um cenário um pouco de fantasia, árvores de  folhas brancas. Ao longe a ilusão é completa.

Mais perto verificamos que são centenas de garças pousadas em ramos de árvores e que fizeram deste local, junto ao rio, seu habitat.

Alimentam-se, principalmente de insectos mas não desdenham alguns pequenos vertebrados.

Também não estranham o invasor fotógrafo.

Expo 1998 - Lisboa

Fui um dos 11 milhões de visitantes da Expo, mais do que uma vez.

Foi um acontecimento notável a nível cultural e de extraordinária criatividade.

Havia no rosto das pessoas uma grande felicidade apesar das horas infinitas nas longas e labirínticas filas de espera.

Precisamos de mais acontecimentos como este. Quando queremos  fazemos bem feito.

Na Ponta de Sagres,a paisagem é magnífica.   

O oceano Atlântico é majestoso, e a flora do local de uma grande beleza.

 Tudo isso me impressionou. Mas como sou uma apaixonada por pedras, os meus olhos foram atraídos por estes calcários corroídos pelo tempo, produzindo neles este aspecto quase lunar.

O tempo, esse artista severo, que esculpe todos os seres a seu bel-prazer, é bem mais generoso para alguns.

Aqui, acho eu, excedeu-se em qualidade.

As minhas filhas, muito queridas, achando que a mãe continuava ter no coração um ventríloquo, algo infantil, ofereceram-me este Furby, que adoro.

Figueira da Foz, também conhecida pela Raínha da Costa de Prata, fica junto à foz do rio Mondego.

Possui o maior casino do País e o mais antigo de toda a Península Ibérica.

Local de férias muito visitado no Verão. Mas é igualmente atraente em todas as épocas do ano.

Montemor-o-Novo

  O Castelo de Montemor-o-Novo fica situado no ponto mais alto da região.  Supõe-se que tenha sido edificado por altura em que D.Sancho I concedeu Carta de Foral  a Montemor,  em 1203.

No mesmo local existiram, como diversas intervenções arqueológicas indicam,  vestígios de ocupação romana e a existência de um castelo muçulmano.

O terramoto de 1755 provocou grandes danos no castelo,  que mesmo em ruínas é um valioso testemunho histórico.
